The issue with learning stuff that has existed for quite a while but grown with time is that sometimes you will have outdated knowledge even if you've just learned something.

It took me until two days ago to find out python supports type hinting (and has for quite a while) :/

However, now putting type hints everywhere in my current project is fun :D

@dysphoricDev I was pretty surprised about that, too. I think I learned about that last year. You might want to look at MyPy as well. As I understand it, that's basically a type checker. (Which is something I really like in TypeScript :D)

I learned about typing in Python shortly after getting comfortable with TypeScript tho, so it's possible I wrongfully assumed that MyPy does the same thing, just in Python :D
