@dprx I was a big-time Twitter user. I lost some things when I stopped using it entirely and switched to fedi, but knowing I'm not contributing to Twitter's effect on society makes up for it.

I have a DHCP server that's been doing DHCP since 2006. It's been migrated to a VM, but the original server predates the iPhone.
I ran a script that listed all the leases in the dhcpd.leases file, and there are leases that predate the iPhone, too. Pretty much every lease has persisted, even long-dead ones!
