Not sure why Starbucks got their Colombia VIA Ready Brew phased out here in Manila. It’s more than a year now I think.

I used to buy 1 pack (12 coffees) every week. Its one of the few coffees I love to drink.

Is it just me or Facebook Messenger is down again?

So I went to this mall earlier to buy a new aircon for my room. I went and checked out a popular store for appliances and I feel like their aircon price is cheaper than other stores.

Luckily, I decided to check out their competitor’s store before buying one and found out that their aircon (same brand and model) is $200 cheaper. I went and buy the aircon right away!

2 more days to go before GOT Season 8. Super f*ckin excited. :awesome:

Going to the mall to buy a new aircon. Some friends told me to buy Panasonic as it is made from Japan. They say I need to stay away from those that are made in Korea.

Not really sure how they came into those conclusions but Japan technology is pretty reliable.

Their systems are already running, all hardware have been configured and built around the system, so reinstalling Windows Standard is not an option.

There is an option however of running the DISM command to upgrade the OS from Standard to Datacenter, but its a bit risky.

A better route instead is for them to buy the necessary licenses to cover their VMs.

Its a big money for sure since they have to take into consideration the number of cores their base server have and the number of their VMs.

It’s quite amazing to know that we were able to photgraph a blackhole. Others thought its not real, that image invalidates all that.

A company asked me for some consultation about their software licenses.

It turns out, that their German ITs found that they don’t have sufficient licenses to cover their VMs.

They have a Windows Datacenter license but they used Windows Standard instead for their base server! 🤬

Im looking to replace our pfsense firewall with opnsense. I love pfsense but one of its bundled packages, squid, just doesn’t work well with https.

Will get opnsense installed next week and find out if it’s any better.

One of the good domain registrar out there is Namecheap. It has an API, free whois privacy in the first year, and fast support.

But for some reason, it can’t renew automatically my expiring domain. I thought it’s a credit card problem but when I manually renewed the domain, it gets renewed with no problem.

Hope they get this fixed as I got tons of domains and I don’t want to renew them all manually.

Anyone recently switched from Chrome to Firefox?

What tweaks, addons and settings did you use to make it less of an awkward switch?

Happy birthday Grandpa! Wish you good health and many more birthdays to come.

When the Oops! page is no longer showing up on Jenkins, you need to browse over to http://localhost:port/configureSecurity.

You need to set the Security Realm to “Jenkin’s own user database” and remove the authorization for anonymous user.

Once this is done, you will now be able to login properly without getting the 403 error.

Add the permissions on the Jenkins main xml file. This usually can be found at /var/lib/jenkins/config.xml.

What the others does is to set the useSecurity to false. This is a bad idea as you have to reconfigure everything and you can’t revert back.
