SO yeah, setting up a systemd.timer was pretty easy... once you figure out the syntax... still need to wrap my head around it. Seems pretty powerful otherwise!
While #protonmail still doesn't officially support Linux with its IMAP/SMTP bridge application (there is a beta, though) and it requires a paid account, there's an interesting open-source third-party bridge called Hydroxide.

Getting closer to hitting Milestone 1 with Cross-DSO CFI in #HardenedBSD.
Shared libraries are now being (mostly properly) built with LTO. /bin/sh now runs with a fully LTO-ified world (libs+apps). However, when non-Cross-DSO CFI is enabled, /bin/sh segafults.
I suspect this segfault is due to CFI now being able to cross the DSO boundary. However, there's still more variables to check, more things to rule out. There's still lots to do. But, we're getting closer.

Here's a screenshot of #OPNsense with #SafeStack working flawlessly. Hint: exploit mitigations like SafeStack are transparent to the user. The best security features are ones that work simply and robustly such that the user doesn't even notice. That's what we're doing in OPNsense.
