The already low bar for email spammers seems to be getting lower. This poor fellow just sent me an email tempting me to open the attached PDF. There were no attachments.
@djmoch I've noticed the same thing in recent months: a general drop in the quality of spam efforts. Could it be that the competent spammers have moved on to more lucrative scams?
@jrivett I'm not so sure. Even if you're out to make some easy Bitcoin via cryptojacking, you still need to get some poor soul to open a PDF or MS Office attachment. It either that or get them to host a WordPress website, in which case you should probably just hand them your SSH keys.
