@distrotube you say its gnu/linux but really its just linux.

your logic breaks down when there is distros of linux that do not contain any gnu components.
is alpine still gnu/linux despite having no gnu components?
i wouldn't think so.

perhaps busybox/linux?
but even busybox isn't necessary for the system(hardware) to run.
really you just need the kernel to run the hardware.
so the kernel in my opinion is the operating system and thus linux is linux and not gnu/linux.

@distrotube i completely agree i will call alpine GNU/linux still you can choose to have GNU in the downloads page
