@sraysmith If you spend much of your time in the terminal and text editors (such as Vim), tiling window managers make alot of sense.
@distrotube I also realized that even in a GUI I find myself using applications in full screen or split. It would save time for them to open automatically that way and in a tiling window manager, they do. I like the BSP layout quite a bit.

@distrotube I use the terminal so much that I'm actually considering using a tiling window manager on my main machine. You are right that the GUI can be distracting. My favorite way to be productive is using Vim and LaTeX to write my papers.
