Have you ever tried to explain to your "plastic straw environmentalists" friends what meaningful action against climate change may be - and failed?

If they listen to podcasts, I suggest that you share this episode with them.

It covers topics like "green washing" by big corporates, the net zero trap, green consumerism, and the fallacy of (just) individual action against climate change.

Wrt dependencies, I installed the flatpak package so I did not notice anything strange about dependencies.

Wrt login, no need to do so. At least on the PC version, click on "Get Shared", search for a set of flashcards and just add it to Anki.

Not sure if you are talking about linux on mobile, but what I miss most is the lack of a mobile friendly UI/UX.

Contributing to free software requires privilege. Even regular contributors might sometimes find themselves without it.

Time, focus and money. You might find yourself lacking in one of these at various points in your life.

While software projects from startups move like streams, most free software projects move like glaciers. They move slowly but they keep moving for decades.

Being away from a project doesn't mean you have to give it up. You can join back later.
