As FOSS on mobile community, let's do our part to fix the many negative effects of social media and its hostile design patterns. We could become the prime example of how to treat users with respect. To not only give them control over their phone, but also over their attention. From design choices in the operating systems and apps to the platforms we choose to communicate about development.

It is refreshing and motivating to listen to @ollieparanoid reminding us of the "what" and the "why" of being involved with #linux on #mobile. It is easy to get lost in technicalities, bugs, performance issues, lack of applications and miss the point.
