Working on a @librelingo app for . It is made with QML, Python (PySide2) and Kirigami.

Code is here: codeberg.org/dimkard/libreling

Not released a stable version yet, but I wonder about the packaging options for the app to be available in @ManjaroARM @postmarketOS , @Ubports, @mobian , etc.

Is there anything special that I should take care of (upstream) to facilitate packaging?

BTW, is there any PySide2 app packaged as out there?

@dimitrisk For Manjaro, as long as you document dependencies and build steps, we should be able to package it.

@dimitrisk
Not sure about ubports, but afair Ubuntu touch needed you to change quite a bit of your code (I might have an overlap of memories regarding @sailfishOS )
@librelingo @ManjaroARM @postmarketOS @Ubports @mobian

@dimitrisk @postmarketOS Nice! At least for #postmarketOS, nothing special has to be done. All the deps you mentioned are available. Just make sure you have setup.py, sadly more and more Python projects are getting rid of that in favor of other options that do not work for distribution packaging

@bart
Thanks, that was really helpful! Tbh, I was also considering "other options" :)
@postmarketOS

@dimitrisk wow this is really cool! I hadn't heard of LibreLingo before, and now I want to use your app on my phone
