Due to the fever, I've lately discussed with non-tech people how apps use our personal data. When mentioning that under faceapp terms of use, we deliver our private data to the people behind the app, for any possible use, I usually get the same alarming response: "This is how every app works, isn't it?".
I see here an opportunity to start discussing with people issues like user control, client and server, and what apps can offer to defend our digital rights.
