I doubt there is any technology that is as over-hyped and at the same time as hostile to accessibility and inclusiveness as virtual reality. Pretty much anyone with any sight problem that is not your standard short/far-sightedness is out: amblyopia, astigmatism, strabismus, hypertropia, etc. Also most problems with your inner ear will make you unable to use it. Then there is claustrophobia. Then there are all the people with non-standard head and body sizes.

@deshipu Don't forget gorilla arm. Waving your arms around in front of you for four hours fucking hurts.

@deshipu Microsoft Windows has a much bigger problem with accessibility and inclusiveness: it is hostile and unforgiving to those who don't like using it.
