I generally think that Apple as a company is anti-user, which is a big part of the reason I prefer not to use their products, but Lockdown Mode is an incredible feature, and something I think can help people protect themselves from targeted attacks if they are in the group where that is a concern.

Feels like I should be grateful today to not an iPhone.

I've been trying to move a lot of my workflow into emacs. I think the biggest challenge I'm facing is just getting myself - when I know I need to take notes - to take those notes in org-mode instead of in Google Docs.

And this, despite the fact that I know deep inside that Google Docs search is atrocious.

My idle thought over the last week or so has been: "What would the internet look like if we just banned advertising?"

What business models would be prevailing, and who would win over Google and Meta?
