@danarel One benefit of this election and the purely utilitarian voting, is that everyone seems a hell of a lot more realistic about the political process. No hope, no change, no other bullshit. I mean, it's a pretty small benefit, but I'll take it.

@danarel Was telling my solarpunk peeps that no matter who is in charge, the powerful will be against us, and that's to be expected.

Things about this election that actually excited me were referendums like Nevada adding a 50% minimum renewable energy amendment to their state constitution, and Oregon decriminalizing drug possession.

@cwdolunt Agreed, a lot of good local stuff happened. CA restored voting rights to so many former incarcerated people as well.
