I am really liking the Kitty terminal emulator, except for when I login to another server via SSH and I can't backspace. It just skips ahead.

Anyone seen that before?

Haven't had to do this since my Solaris days, but do you need to do the stty erase trick, or set your TERM setting?

@simon @danarel That is the correct approach. Also make sure it's preserved when sudoing (is that a word?). It's covered in the kitty FAQs.
