Sometimes I really don't want to follow the boy scout rule (deviq.com/boy-scout-rule/). Instead I want to be as nonintrusive as possible--just make the change and leave. Ideally no one should ever be able to figure out that I ever made any changes. I follow whatever weird style is already in place, I'm willing to break every rule I usually live by, if I'm serious I even change my git config to use another name and email.

Is there a name for it?
The ninja rule, maybe?

@magthe 😅 I do this, when I need to fix something and be certain it's "safe" for deployment. I think of it like surgery, or analogous to a "surgical strike": in, out, with as little collateral damage as possible 😉
