>how dangerous you are, as you have been from the very beginning.
Microsoft called us cancer, I have come to expect unix/BSD and people who hate GPL to do the same.
I don't understand why now of all times you want to rehash this bullshit debate, if you don't like the GPL don't license your software with it. Licensing/relicensing a software GPL does not "trash" it's functionality, it's still the same piece of software with a different license.
The software shouldn't have been licensed with a non-commerical license from the start. I don't even see how that is possible since the Common Clause infinges Freedom 0. Nor do I see why it is wrong to remove such a restriction from software to begin with.
The court should have easily ruled for the relicensed party but appearantly they did not.
I have no sympathy for non-commerical licensors.
If that's the jaded and insulting perception you want to have of me as well as the free software movement you obviously are entitled to it. I dislike all permissive licenses equally not just non-commerical clauses.
however I think it is exteme to call me "at heart a thief". I am dissatified with restrictive software, not that I just want to steal yours.
