@conservancy is there a screenshot of this part of the mastodon UI from their site? (Getting Started page.) I'm curious to see how they changed it to remove the source link.
@conservancy i don't know much about laws, but we kinda should wait till they release the service.
If they don't follow the software licence conditions, i find appropriately to do something, they shouldn't get away this easily.
I'm baffled how those persons keep violating software licenses. First the ironically bad Gab venue on Mastodon that we managed to fight off with the @isolategab movement, and now this. At least, it seems to be centralized out of the fediverse. Imagine reproducing the same licenses violations, as the same supposed China ennemies of yours often does. Pathetic from them.
@conservancy Assume you all saw that the site appears to have gone live in beta form a second time, and that this too was open to the public and had end users access it? https://nitter.dasnetzundich.de/drewharwell/status/1451259053699653649#m
This Mastodon instance is for people interested in technology. Discussions aren't limited to technology, because tech folks shouldn't be limited to technology either!
