🎊 Out now: Harmonica v0.2.0 which adds support for physics-based particles. Now you can add particles to your TUIs, terminal-based games, or even Ebiten and Pixel projects!
🤗 Special thanks to
Maas Lalani, Harmonica co-maintainer, for the contribution.
@charm I love this unabashedly (pardon the pun), and yet... I can't shake the feeling that particle effects in a CLI app is just... wrong. And yet I love it still.
@Blort we like to have wacky fun stuff like that, but we also like to support classic composibility so try to support direct invocation of functionality via subcommands as much as possible.
@Blort 😂 so basically you can use the TUI (which may or may not have crazy special effects) or you can just straight up call the command. For instance you can `glow stash README.md` to stash something, not using the TUI. Makes things more scriptable. the `charm` tool has a lot of that going on with `charm kv` and `charm fs`.
This Mastodon instance is for people interested in technology. Discussions aren't limited to technology, because tech folks shouldn't be limited to technology either!
