Going to start hosting some of my old research papers on Gemini for the lols. Not like I'm ever going to do my PhD.
Just for gits and shiggles I thought I'd give #gemini a look in. What a lovely little protocol. I've started putting some writing on there for fun, seems like the perfect place for a small text-focused blog.
Funkwhale 1.0.1 has been released! It's a small release that brings a couple enhancements and several fixes for issues that could break installation and upgrades.
As usual, the full changelog and upgrade instructions are available at https://docs.funkwhale.audio/changelog.html#id1
Happy Wednesday, Funkwhalers!
We're currently auditing the #Funkwhale documentation and looking for spots that need updating, clarification, etc. to make it easier for people to contribute.
@agate good luck! You'll do great
Literally any git forge would be better than Bitbucket.
@agateblue I've been discovering scrobbling because of Funkwhale!
Funkwhale 1.0 - scrobbler plugin
With the new plugin system, we'be bundled our first plugin, which allows you to scrobble to Last.fm and other compatible implementations (such as Listenbrainz).
Once the plugin is activated on the server (via the FUNKWHALE_PLUGINS=funkwhale_api.contrib.scrobbler env var), you can visit your user settings, click "Manage plugins" et voilà!
Funkwhale 1.0 - translations
New strings have been pushed to our weblate, meaning everything is ready to be translated too!
Funkwhale contributor, Rust/Python tinkerer, Japanese mythology enthusiast.
This Mastodon instance is for people interested in technology. Discussions aren't limited to technology, because tech folks shouldn't be limited to technology either!
