Is there an adapter I could use to install this WiFi card I salvaged from a broken laptop into my desktop?
@Siphonay depends on the interface, but you can normally get an adapter.
My guess is mini-PCI express to PCI express. (That may not be right though. Check the relevant details online!)
@Siphonay also worth bearing in mind is the need for an antenna of some description.
If you're not reusing the one from your laptop then you'd need to order that too.
You might find in the end that it's cheaper just to buy a USB dongle ๐
