I’ve been asked repeatedly why I’m attending Unicode conference. While as font developers we are concerned with only an admittedly seemingly insignificant aspect of written communication, why wouldn’t we want to keep up to date with how software is assisting people around the globe consume information? We have a shared goal and keeping in touch can only help make informed design decisions.
