@aru Well, I was surprised, because GNU actually recommends using the Apache license if you're program is very small: gnu.org/licenses/license-recom

The GPL does appear to require integrating the license notice into the program itself, which would be overkill for a small script, so I went with Apache in this case. But if it was a larger program, I'd probably use the GPL. Very fascinating to break down the differences! 🤔
