Still not happy enough with the workflows of Poetry and Pipenv to commit to either for a new project.
Looks like I'll be using pip+virtualenvwrapper for the foreseeable future.
@aru we went all-in on Pipenv and it was a mistake. Installs are on the order of 30 minutes, no clear idea about how to add or remove a dependency without updating all the things (ostensibly the —keep-outdated flag should do this, but it is broken IIRC). Then there are the cryptic error messages and bizarre behavior around using a pre-release (if you opt to use a pre-release for one dependency, pipenv will update all of your dependencies to prereleases, —keep-outdated be damned).
