To anyone interested in the #Pinephone, or even the #Librem5 and #Linux #smartphones in general, we owe a huge debt of gratitude imo to #Megi.

He's not employed to do this, but donates hundreds of his own personal hours helping to get the hardware working, increase battery life (over and over) and generally make a huge amount of the smartphone progress we've seen, happen.

I think people have this assumption that people who suffer from anxiety are jibbering wrecks, or curled up in a ball in the corner of a room.

For me (and other people I know) you can look supremely confident on the outside but be anxious as hell on the inside. No-one would ever suspect.

The trouble is, it can stop you for going for things that you would be well-suited for because there's a gnawing feeling that you might fail.

Referring to hashing passwords as "encryption" doesn't increase my confidence in your security

I'm drunk. I am disappointed how social networks made many of us think that being good at defining problems somehow frees us from working on solutions. I don't want to be that person. I want to work on solutions. Maybe social networks aren't the place to find like minded people.

i feel a lot nervous whenever a friend ask me advices about a new computer or technology in general, i know that they think i know a lot about those topics, but i've learned all this stuff because i think all modern technology is terrible, computer science is a declining field and i hate modern software and hardware so much i had to craft my own, or put together the "premium cuts" of the junk that's available

I saw someone online describe mRNA vaccines as telling your body to make a new type of guy to get really mad about and now I can't stop thinking about it
