I'm back on the Usenet after three decades. Some technical groups are still as interesting and helpful as they were back in the day. And, surprisingly, still nearly spam free.

@amoroso hm, maybe time to get on there then. I really miss Usenet. Which groups do you still find useful?
@fedops I'm checking comp.os.cpm and occasionally other groups in the comp.* hierarchy.
@amoroso how do you access them? I remember when every internet provider, including the first batch of "free" dialup providers in Italy, offered an NNTP server. Not anymore, I guess.
@signaleleven Now I access the Usenet via Google Groups, e.g. comp.os.cpm is at https://groups.google.com/g/comp.os.cpm
@amoroso I checked them out a couple of months ago, genuinely surprised to find them all alive and well!
