Google translation of front page blurb of artritelacy.jp: 'Hello. Here is the mastodon server "for Japanese who want to live artistically". The theme is "to live artistically and to be an artist has nothing to do with relation".'--I think that last bit should be more like "Living artistically has nothing to do with being an artist" but I don't understand Japanese.--One can only guess at the bizarreté being hatched over there 🍱

I've been working on a book called "The Mediocre Programmer".
It's a book that was born out of the frustration I had when I was unemployed for the last part of 2016 through most of 2017. I had so many interviews and what-not that never panned out, and coding interviews that never turned into job offers. I felt for all the world like I was going to have to leave the field altogether because nobody wanted me, a mediocre programmer.
