In today’s unsurprising but nonetheless intense procrastination, I once again am thinking of rewriting Joplin notes app (at least the TUI/CLI bits). No disrespect but it’s written in Node.js.
I usually use the TUI, but I hate that it doesn’t fancy-render the Markdown. I have a nifty one-liner that lets me view all my notes with @charm ‘s glow. I’ve thought about building a glow-viewer into Joplin…
I tried using the CLI today. It’s a bit clunky. You can’t search the notes with it. It’s also slowwwwwww.
That being said, all my projects are so personal and idiosyncratic. I should really work on some community stuff next.
