New rule: you're not allowed to tell an individual not to use Skype / Slack / Disqus etc until you've first told three businesses or formal projects or organizations not to. And answered all their questions about the overhead of self-hosting.

Discovered for myself again. It feels very awesome and very close to what I want to have :)

I am playing around and implementing some types in

Here is what I've got. Pretty simple and not fully implemented, but totally fun :)

Guys at service center installed a dead battery into my laptop :/ So, I am back without a proper computer. I think I will end up making some kind of development environment on wife's laptop, just in case.

I'm writing code for more than 10 years professionally now and use computers since I was 8.
I never learned proper 10-finger writing, I don't buy ridiculously expensive, loud and clunky keyboards and am perfectly fine using a laptop keyboard.
I test out at about 55 wpm/ 275cpm which is entry level professional typist (which I don't consider myself to be) and that's totally fine for the job.
Don't stress yourself out.

doesn't feel that bad after I've installed . I really am able to work using it 馃

tips for newcomers

follow, boost and fave all you like! we don't care about follow ratios and faves are private. go hog wild!

boosting your own posts is 100% ok. no shame. the TL is chronological, so there's no algorithm to fight.

please do use CWs. if in doubt, use one just to be safe.

hashtags are your friends and really the only effective way to search for posts. be sure to use them to maximize your reach.

don't be afraid to engage. dumping pictures is fine but stay and chat a bit too!

Speaking of , I am curious, why there is no LLVM compiler for it? Isn鈥檛 it a way of making new natively compiled languages nowadays?

Does somebody has a clue?

Wow, has released about 15 days ago. Thus, it is not an abandoned language, but slightly evolving. Awesome to hear!

Fun fact: when I stop caring about computer performance it starts work really faster!

The thing I hate in is that it breaks the promise made by compiler. You easily can produce code that will compile but will never work at all :/

The thing bothered me a lot on elementary works on fedora great as native. It's a possibility to switch typing languages as fast as possible.

Marillion - Kayleigh (Extended Versi贸n) (1985) HD

...old stuff again...

The thing I love doing is optimizing. Like, before optimization it took about 8-9 seconds to process data in period, and after it takes 2-3. It writes 20-30 items per period instead of 200-1000. (by period I mean amount of data collected in 10 seconds flat)

Love that feeling - to get things faster in 30 minutes.

The refactoring of code allowed me to drop one dumb metric that required me to run spark master for tests. Now the tests run faster than the build is happening :awesome:

Yesterday tonight spend some fun time playing . It's pretty fun and decent game, totally liked it. It's really like an old-plain minecraft, but faster and sometimes cooler
