hypermedia apis are for human consumption. but changing outmoded apis, and deprecating them, is also a point for human consumption. the change cost is code cost: code written about code which may raise prices of existing code. cyclomatic complexity in code reflects changes in organizational complexity (or what is organizational structure; see conway's 4 laws): i.e., change, adjudicative, recognitive, analytic, identification, simulation, completive, conclusive, deductive, emergent, &c complexity

1. over 90% of the web is inaccessible
2. almost all apis are (not rest-ful) and clients are not hypermediated
3. by (1) we can assume most interfaces are littered with semantic trash ("presentational classes", "utility classes", etc. like tailwindcss, etc.)

now that i got a screen going i wanted to try lecturing from it but also i think type checking on stuff that gets published to an api makes sense whereas type checking on the whole codebase has not so purposeful nitpicking (i.e., looking at ya Typescript) photos.app.goo.gl/3NY8SWZ2YvBV

I deleted TikTok after learning that the terms of service stipulate that they have access to your keystrokes and also any devices connected to your phone, like your laptop.
