Wow, over 2 months and nothing? :(
Been a while. So, I am looking for a modern iPod alternative. Astell & Kern (formerly iRiver?), FiiO , etc. Look good, seem to do their jobs, but are *expensive* even for lower capacities....Any suggestions??
Bluetooth is a must; I am not dealing with wired headphones anymore.
And particularly good practical Powershell tutorials out there? Especially for non-programmers, but logical thinkers? Programmer-lite?
Currently sorta muddling through this: https://www.packtpub.com/networking-and-servers/getting-started-powershell
Hmmm....USB Rubber Ducky or Bash Bunny?
Does the Bash Bunny succeed the Rubber Ducky or are they complimentary? #decisions
Bullshit rainy day, time for some goa!
Is there a non-marketing reason for the term 'military-grade encryption'? Given that it's a NIST standard, and available to all, I don't think calling AES-256 'military-grade' works out if you've been in/around anything military......
Came across this when buying a backup Yubikey on the Amazon
Anybody seen/used this? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XGD99D3/
Don't really have an opinion, but I don't think it's worth $100 to use with a *free* password manager o.0
Interesting idea, though.
So after failing to find a decent source for canned thai iced tea, I have found that it is stupid-easy to actually make. Even without the actual thai tea with added spices.
Just using some Earl Grey (hot!) and letting it sit until it cools to room temp and we'll see how it turns out!
No, it *was* included as standard Genesis sound chip, labelled (maybe in certain markets?) as YM2612...Geez, pushing this hardware like this is freakin' amazing
Wait, the YM3438 isn't standard in the Genesis, or the SegaCD, or 32X.....
Reading up on it over on pouet.net, and even the *music* was coded directly into the ROM, and produced by the YM3438.....

Demo running on Genesis hardware. Apparently breaks most emulators.
Is there a 4-bay, 2.5" SATA (or even SAS) NAS out there? That isn't like $1000+ before drives?
Just curious
Alrighty everyone. Password managers. Which do you use? Personal/professional, why the 'schism'? Workpalce Policy, probably?
How do you try to convince non-techy friends/family to use one? Which one do you try to push; something you personally use, or something they might have heard of?
Cloud-based or local with a cloud option.
Can someone explain to me the purpose of allowing someone to upload their resume, and on the next section, force your to basically type out your resume again?
Is it' some kind of psychological job-hunting test? Perseverance test?
Oh, I like this new 'intro' thing after login.....
