Germany has banned its #schools from using cloud-based productivity suites from Microsoft, Google, and Apple, because the companies weren't meeting the country's #privacy requirements.

There is no ban. This is a statement by a single person, it is not legally binding, the schools don't care about his opinion. Probably a student or parent would have to sue a school and win the legal case to change anything.

Also they are already working with Microsoft to solve this issue.
