This is a good thing. Glitch is excellent. Really anything that gets people coding and experimenting is excellent.
React JS — Understanding Functional & Class Components
To be frank; for Google, https://opensource.google.com/docs/using/agpl-policy/ this makes sense. Like they're not about to open source their entire stack.
Nor would Apple.
Wonder if #blacktechtwitter is on here???

Feel a sense of relief. Going to work on #Ruby today
Wondering if anyone here is starting to mess with #Julia as a programming language to learn in the future
Google has responded to criticism about its browser auto-login feature, and other changes. So it’s making those features optional. The result is better, but still much invasive than it was a few weeks ago. https://www.cnet.com/news/google-promises-chrome-changes-after-privacy-complaints/
There's an interesting community project on here called #Trunk:
It's a list of people to follow on the #Fediverse, organised by category. You can follow people individually, or follow entire category lists.
You can add yourself to the list by sending a message to one of the site admins. Remember to include which category/categories you want to be listed in.

It’s that time of year (all of it) when I encourage people to watch Steven Universe. It’s an amazing show, and the reason I keep pushing it is that I keep getting DMs saying “I finally watched it on your recommendation and I’m hooked”, so check out this blog post if you’re even a little interested: https://ashfurrow.com/blog/so-steven-universe-eh/
Hello! I'm new here. I never really _got_ Twitter so thought I'd try Mastodon out instead.
This Mastodon instance is for people interested in technology. Discussions aren't limited to technology, because tech folks shouldn't be limited to technology either! We adhere to an adapted version of the TootCat Code of Conduct and have documented a list of blocked instances. Ash is the admin and is supported by Fuzzface, Brian!, and Daniel Glus as moderators. Hosting costs are largely covered by our generous supporters on Patreon – thanks for all the help!
