People have been asking me exactly what is.

Relationship Marketing is about forming long term relationships with customers, rather than trying to encourage a one time sale. The best way to gain new customers is through referrals.

For those interested, here is my website -

I've never been a big computer game player, but two of my favourite computer games when I was a kid were 'Escape from Rungistan' and 'Police Quest'. I've done a Start Page and Duck Duck search, but can't find Linux versions. Does anyone know if either or both games have Linux editions?

Just discovered CryptPad via the FLOSS Weekly podcast. Basically, Google docs without privacy concerns.

CryptPad in their own words:

"CryptPad is a private-by-design alternative to popular office tools and cloud services. All the content stored on CryptPad is encrypted before being sent, which means nobody can access your data unless you give them the keys (not even us)."

It's also Free software.

Better still CryptPad is on the Fediverse:

Thank you for helping create a safer platform for photo sharing on the fediverse.

Here's a great Back Up tool for Debian and Ubuntu based systems . . .

Joe walks through the download and the script.

Wishing all mothers everywhere, especially my Mum, and my sister, a very Happy Mother's Day. Enjoy a great day of celebration with you families.

@pixelfed I've just started an account, and wondering how I search for other people in different instances? (In the search bar I type their name , using their full link and just with the @ sign and it comes up as no results)

Just wondering, can anyone point me to a video about how to build (and then maintain/update) a website offline using a text editor and rync with the website hosted on a VPS?

Specifically, what I'm trying to do is, create a simple website and keep a 'repository' (for lack of better name) of the files on my laptop, and when I make changes to the files offline, they automatically sync on the VPS.

Does anyone know of a video (I learn better watching) that explains how to do what I'm trying to do?

And the cars take to the Albert Park circuit in Melbourne in FP1 for the 2019

Hey everyone. I just joined Mastodon after hearing about it on Mozilla's IRL podcast. This is my first post :) I'm a long time software dev running :archlinux: with :i3wm:.

Found another great and easy to use terminal based tool today - ImageMagick. So far I'm finding it easier than GIMP for my needs.

The challenge is to send at least one heartfelt card last thing EVERY night for the next 30 nights.

Who's joining me?

Anyone new to Linux who doesn't know which Linux distro they should choose could get some ideas from @ChrisWere videos on Peertube: . Amongst others he has reviewed Mx Linux, Fedora, Ubuntu, Pop! OS and Mint. He has also posted some videos showing some of the free software(SimpleScreenRecorder, ffmpeg) he uses on Linux to create and edit his videos for anyone thinking of making some of their own.

On Saturday (Australian time) I posted how I used MOC (Music on Console) and ffmpeg to create a playlist of acoustic songs.

Well, yesterday, I spent most of the day watching videos about ffmpeg. And, I'm blown away at how versatile that little program is.

And it all started from watching @ChrisWere short video about ffmpeg. Thanks Chris!

If you aren't familiar with ffmpeg, do yourself a favour and look into it. It is Amazing! I love FOSS!
