Is there a core Mastodon UI/UX design team? How does the design of this thing get done? (Haha... I have questions and am posing them to the void. Yes, itβs probably not the best strategy. Assuming a high degree of universal listening-in is going on here.)
One of my *very* favorite things about the early days of a platform are all the early adopters kicking the tires and finding out little secrets here and there about the platform. I love doing this myself, and tend to really appreciate other people doing the same thing.

Well, after the explanation of many mastonauts, it seems to be that followbots are like small automatic spies that came from other instances to look for Tooters and share their toots on the federated timeline of their own instances. It means that federated timeline doesn't have all toots from all instances. As I read federateds gets populate after Tooters follow each other, and the "spies" help to small instances to feed their own federated. Apparently they are useful and necessary.
@badger_ A delete is like a second message that is propagated to your followers/followers' servers. Network delays/failures can lead to malfunctions. But in the average case, deletes do propagate through federation.
