Anyone got any ideas for how to get Linux adopted, that aren't just victim-blaming Windows users?

@octet33 I find it difficult to pitch Linux to anyone outside of the more tech illiterate audience, mainly those who want a basic web browsing machine that works like Windows 7 since they don't want to switch to Windows 10. I usually sell them on it by bringing up the forced updates of Win10 and how that doesn't happen on Xubuntu.

@octet33 As soon as a gamer, creative type, or professional encounters a situation that Linux either cannot handle as easily as Windows (or at all in the case of apps like Photoshop) they tend to run back to safety. It's really important to know the needs of your potential converts and whether or not Linux can actually work with their day to day workflow.
