@Flarnie And of course if you used a longer variable name, in the good old C tradition it would be silently truncated, with no warning or error.

@deshipu @Flarnie i half remember something like this extending to early shells and terminals because in order to press the button you had to push really hard on them? was this ever true or did i dream it up?
