Toot! seems to be the established premium option at the moment. its bootstrap-esque color palette may look bland in comparison, but its ratcheting instance-switching animation is probably the most innovative UX concept I’ve seen in a new iOS app lately.

Tootdon is the old favorite, ya might say. it seems to keep up with the federated deluge a bit better than the others, but obviously I’ve yet to test them all thoroughly. notably: Tootdon did encounter what you might call a 𝓅𝓇𝒾𝓋𝒶𝒸𝓎 𝓈𝒸𝒶𝓃𝒹𝒶𝓁 a few months ago, which may or may not be the reason it’s not listed on the official Mastodon apps page.
