I'm looking for a book in which the world is solarpunk, but the fact that it is solarpunk is not the point. Like, I'd be content with a murder mystery in a solarpunk city. Anyone have ideas?

You could look at the Panopticon series by AE Currie. It's set in the near future where there kinda is a solar punk ethic. Where everyone can access information on everyone else under the Panopticon. From Benthams idea that any citizen could inspect the cells in the Panopticon. Which confused me at first until I was reminded of the citizen part. There's a mystery in there.
