sudo dd if=/dev/zero of /dev/mmclbl0p3
It's amazing how wiping a drive with literally nothing on it still makes me nervous.
Try not to use dd directly. Put it in a small script where you also check if the of= really is a block device.
That's a good tip. Honestly i just wanted to mess up the encryption so i could write over the drive, but i had the sense that i was playing with a dangerous command.
